Golf Classic & Honorary Awards Dinner
THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN OUR ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC AND HONORARY AWARDS DINNER ON SEPTEMBER 29TH AT THE BLUE HILL COUNTRY CLUB
What a day it was – sunshine, championship-level golf, and an evening filled with inspiration, generosity, and community spirit. None of it would have been possible without the support of our incredible sponsors, golfers, and friends.
The Honorary Awards Dinner has become a signature event, uniting community champions, public figures, and supporters to honor extraordinary individuals who embody service and leadership. This year, we were privileged to recognize:
Martin J. Walsh, former U.S. Secretary of Labor and Executive Director of the National Hockey League Players’ Association, recipient of the “Woody” Woodhouse II Leadership Award.
Coleman Nee, National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), recipient of the Minuteman Award.
Together, we raised over $125,000 in support of Home Base – a partnership of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital that helps veterans, service members, and their families heal from the invisible wounds of war. In addition, proceeds from the Foundation will continue to benefit organizations such as Blue Star Families NE Chapter, Veterans Inc., and Fisher House Boston, among others.
The HFCU Charitable Foundation's goal is simple: to maximize the effectiveness of this event so we can do even more for the military members, veterans, and families who inspire us every day.
Stay tuned – you won’t want to miss what’s coming in 2026.
